GIRONA SIGHTSEEING TOUR (PEDESTRIAN)

Walking tour. It seems that the medieval quarters of Girona still keep the memory of the events which occurred here over the centuries. The old tile roofs, bell towers and medieval walls give the city a fairy-tale atmosphere. It was founded by a three-headed monster - the Gerio, it is protected by saint patron St. Narcissus, it is famous for the huge catholic Cathedral and the first European school of Jewish Kabbalah. Here you can see the famous petrified witch watches the children from the Cathedral roof and a strange winged dragon, that passes in the nights of full moon under the bridges of the river Onyar. Girona is a city of commercial and military art, the city of the silent convents and of the stone stairs, the city of the memory and the legends, which  you will learn during a romantic stroll through the quiet streets of the old town.
The excursion to Girona can be combined with the visit to the Dali Museum, with a guided tour dedicated to the Jewish history of Catalonia or with the tour to Besalu.
